Wildlife Discovery
This 14-day, 13-night journey takes travelers to Sri Lanka's top wildlife sanctuaries and includes intriguing activities as well as a few leisurely days on the beach near the Indian Ocean. They will explore the national parks of Wilpattu, Minneriya, Arugam Bay, Udawalawa, and Yala. Throughout the journey, we ensure to give our clients a luxurious service and make their stay here memorable.



Day 1
Airport > Negombo
At the airport one of our representatives will be picked up you from airport and guide to the hotel in Negombo. Once you get to the hotel, you can relax and recover from any jet lag. Depending on the arrival time, if you have spare time, you can have a walk in Negombo town and it's beaches.



Day 2
Negombo > Wilpattu
The journey begins in Negombo after the breakfast and heading to Wilpattu National Park. Safari tours are must to do during your visit in Wilpattu as this park famous for is various of creatures in Sri Lanka.
You can enjoy a beautiful candlelight dinner at the end of the day and spend the night in camping sight.
Day 3
Wilpattu > Minneriya > Polonnaruwa
After having breakfast, you will be heading to Minneriya and have a small rest at hotel. After lunch we will be visiting Pollonaruwa, Sri Lanka’s second most ancient kingdom.



Day 4
All day in Minneriya
After breakfast you will be going to Minneriya National Park for exciting safari tours and explore the home to world’s largest known gathering of Asian elephants. You can spend the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or have a tour around the village.
Day 5
Minneriya > Arugam Bay
After breakfast depart to Arugam Bay and spend the day relaxing at the hotel.


Day 6
All day in Arugam Bay
After breakfast you will be heading to Kumana National Park, well-known ecotourism destination and bird sanctuary where numerous birds breed and roost.
After lunch either you can spend your evening at Arugam Bay beach or stay in the hotel and relaxing.
Day 7
Arugam Bay > Udawalawa
In the morning you will be heading to Udawalawa and after lunch explore the Udawalawa National Park which is a home to hundreds of Asian elephants and many other species.


Day 8
All day in Udawalawa
In the first half of the day, you will be going on safari drives in Udawalawa National Park. After that you can relax at the hotel space and in the night, enjoy a beautiful candlelight dinner.
Day 9
Udawalawa > Yala
On the way to Yala you will be visiting Lunugamwehera National Park home to 43 different species of mammals, including wild boar, sambar deer, spotted deer, Sri Lankan axe deer, fishing cat, Asian palm civet, grey mongoose, grizzled giant squirrel, sloth bear, and mouse deer. There are also 33 species of reptiles, 12 species of amphibians, and 21 species of fish in the park.
The rest of the either you can stay in the hotel at Yala or go on a safari drive in Yala National Park.


Day 10
All day in Yala
You will be going on game drives in the morning and evening at Yala National Park, the most famous national park in Sri Lanka to observe Elephants, Leopards and exciting species.
Day 11
Yala > Mirissa
After breakfast you will be heading to Mirissa one of the most popular beach destinations in southern Sri Lanka. After lunch you will getting an overnight sailing experience on a luxury yacht till the next day afternoon.


Day 12
Mirissa > Hikkaduwa
After lunch depart to Hikkaduwa, another popular beach destination in Southern coast of Sri Lanka. Rest of the day either you can relax at the hotel or visit the beach.
Day 13
Hikkaduwa > Colombo
You will be heading to Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka and have a city tour in Colombo.


Day 14
Colombo > Airport
After breakfast you will be heading to the Airport in time for the connecting flight.

Wilpattu
Wilpattu National Park is one of the largest and oldest protected areas in Sri Lanka, spanning about 131 thousand hectares. This area is one of the most significant habitats for elephants in the country and is one of the best places to spot the rare Sri Lankan leopard and sloth bear.

Minneriya
Minneriya National Park is home to the world’s largest known gathering of Asian elephants. At the 8,890-hectare park, which is a few square kilometers away from the Minneriya Tank, herds of up to 350 elephants can be seen during this time. The park's geography includes scrub plains, mixed evergreen forests, rocky outcrops, and wetlands, creating a variety of habitats suitable for a wide range of animals.

Polonnaruwa
Following destruction of Anuradhapura in 993 AD, Polonnaruwa became the capital of Sri Lanka, the country's second-oldest kingdom. The city is filled with temples, shrines, palaces, and ruins and is brimming with archaeological treasures. Discover the royal palace of King Parakramabahu I (1153–1186). The massive Parakrama Samudra Tank, a man-made reservoir that provided water, irrigation, and cooling breezes, shielded Polonnaruwa from the west.

Arugam Bay
Arugam Bay has attracted attention on a global scale as one of the world's top surfing locations and the annual Arugam Bay Surf Competition is held there, gathering many professional surfers from all over the world. It is a little community with only a few hundred residents, and everything is strewn over a single road that runs alongside the coast.
Kumana National Park is a well-known ecotourism destination and bird sanctuary where numerous birds breed and roost. This area includes such species of bird as pelicans, painted storks, spoonbills, white ibis, herons, egrets and little cormorants.

Udawalawa
Udawalawe National Park, which covers an area of 30,821 hectares, is well-known for having a large elephant population. Therefore, this national park is the best place to see herds of magnificent Asian elephants in their distinctive natural settings. There are reportedly 400 elephants living here in total, with 250 of them being regarded permanent residents.
The national park is home to numerous different mammal species, including the rusty-spotted cat, fishing cat, Sri Lankan leopard, etc., in addition to elephants. Rare sightings of Sri Lankan sloth bears occur at Udawalawa National Park.

Yala
Yala is home to more than 44 species including Asian Elephants, Leopards, Sloth Bears and Wild Water Buffalos with its varied ecosystems such as unspoiled beaches, freshwater lakes and rivers, scrubland and rocky outcrops. Also, Yala national Park is best known for its leopard population, which is believed to be one of the highest leopard densities in the world and is the key attraction among the thousands who visit the park.

Mirissa
Mirissa one of the most popular beach resort areas in southern Sri Lanka is. Beautiful Sri Lankan beaches, excellent surfing waves, and waters rich with marine life, from turtles to big blue whales, are all present in the vicinity. Spend your days exploring the city, eating delicious meals from coastal restaurants, and relaxing in your hammock while enjoying fresh coconuts.
