Legacy Seekers

This 7-day, 6-night journey was created to give travelers a brief overview of Sri Lanka's cultural heritage. They will explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Dambulla, Kandy and concluding the trip with couple of relaxing day in Bentota and Negombo. Throughout the journey, we ensure to give our clients a luxurious service and make their stay here memorable.

Day 1

Airport > Negombo

At the airport one of our representatives will be picked up you from airport and guide to the hotel in Negombo. Once you get to the hotel, you can relax and recover from any jet lag. Depending on the arrival time, if you have spare time, you can have a walk in Negombo town and its beaches.

Day 2

Negombo > Anuradhapura

The journey begins in Negombo after the breakfast and heading to Anuradhapura which is a greatest monastic city of the ancient world and the first capital of Sri Lanka. You will visiting eight sacred places and memorable sightseen highlights.

Day 3

Anuradhapura > Dambulla

After breakfast depart to Dambulla and visit Minneriya National Park for a game drive in the evening.

Day 4

Dambulla > Kandy

You will be visiting Sigiriya Rock Fortress which was build by King Kassapa and discover the impressive architectural work in the ancient time.

After lunch you will explore the Kandy city. You can also visit Temple of the Scared Tooth Relic or watch the traditional dancing show in the evening.

Day 5

Kandy > Bentota

After early breakfast discover the Spice Garden and Tea Museum in Kandy and head to Bentota.

After arriving in Bentota you can take an exciting boat safari in Benthara river.

Day 6

Bentota > Colombo or Negombo

In the morning you will do water sports at Bentota. After lunch, depart to Colombo or Negombo according to your choice.

Day 7

After breakfast you will be heading to the Airport in time for the connecting flight.

Anuradhapura

Anuradhapura, one of the biggest monastic cities in antiquity, was the majestic capital of Sri Lanka's empire. From 377 BC to the end of the kingdom in 1017 AD, Anuradhapura thrived as the capital of Lanka and served as the country's royal seat for 1400 years under 130 monarchs. Today, monasteries covering an area of more than sixteen square miles surround the historic city, which is revered by Buddhists.

Dambulla

Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple, a scared pilgrimage site for 22 centuries and the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The importance of this temple complex is that it holds 157 statues and Buddhist mural paintings which covering an area of 2,100m2.

MINNERIYA NATIONA

Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park is home to the world’s largest known gathering of Asian elephants. At the 8,890-hectare park, which is a few square kilometers away from the Minneriya Tank, herds of up to 350 elephants can be seen during this time. The park's geography includes scrub plains, mixed evergreen forests, rocky outcrops, and wetlands, creating a variety of habitats suitable for a wide range of animals.

Kandy

Kandy, also known as Senkadagalapura is one of the historically valuable city for Sri Lanka and served as the last capital of the Sinhala rulers, whose support allowed the Dinahala civilization to flourish for more than 2,500 years before the British occupied Sri Lanka in 1815. Temple of the Scared Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a world-renowned place of worship, where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined.

Bentota

Bentota is a city built around a small Portuguese fort alonside the Bentota river and spreded over the west coast of Sri Lanka. Long stretches of golden sand are only sometimes shadowed by granite outcrops and corkscrew palms. Canoe Rock is one dive spot with lots of coral. A sizable Buddha statue can be found in the historic Galapota Temple on the Bentota River. The estate and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa are located in the southeast at Lunuganga.
